The hunting estate lies within the natural park of Los Alcornocales, the largest protected and productive park of the cork oak tree in the Iberian Peninsula. Lying in the province of Cádiz and close to the coastal town of Los Barrios the hunting estate has a total area of 307 ha ( 770 acres) internally divided by the highway Jerez de la Frontera - Los Barrio into a smaller western area of 39 ha and the main estate with 268 ha lying to the east of the highway.

There is a fully legalised hunting lodge of new construction situated in the main area and with a built area of 350 m2 incorporating in one wing the care taker's flat, an apartment with two bedrooms, lounge and kitchen in another wing and a large garage, storage room and a room for celebrations and festivities in the third wing.

There exist several springs producing spring water all year round and one of the springs forms a small lake ideal for swimming and refreshment. Nearby an elevated plateau offers spectacular views where also the possibility exists for the construction of a superb new hunting lodge with up to 600 m2. There are also several other elevated points on the finca from where splendid views over the park and up to Gibraltar and the Bay of Algeciras can be enjoyed.

The dominant species of vegetation in the estate are the cork oak, the gall oak, the wild olive tree and the ash tree and the lower growth is represented by heather, fern and tree strawberry. The hunting estate has a complete perimeter fence and is internally subdivided into various enclosures for the cattle. The cork production reaches on average 3,500 quintales( 1 quintal = 46 kilos) every 8 to 9 years and the predominant animals are wild boar, deer, fallow deer and roe deer, especially the subspecies "corzo morisco" being exclusive to this area.

The farm is particularly interesting as a hunting estate with its 20 km of well-preserved tracks which guarantee access to any point of the estate. There also are various feeding and watering sites for the animals as well as practice shooting ranges.

Electricity is provided by solar panels and a generator with the complementary batteries providing 10 kw of electricity power. The water flows by gravity from the various springs and the waste water is dealt with in a septic tank. For the cattle there exists a pond to provide drinking water.

This is one of the very few large fincas for sale on the Ruta del Toro between Jerez de la Frontera and Los Barrios and its position equally distant in under 30 minutes from Jerez de la Frontera and Sotogrande makes this hunting estate a particularly interesting investment.
