The Palacio de Medinaceli is situated in the historic quarter of Montilla and was built by the Marquis de Priego in the early part of the 15th century and has been uninhabited for many years and requires complete renovation but is structurally sound.

The palace has approximately 1240 m2 of built area and inside are patios and garages. The property has mains electric, water & sewageand telephone is available for connection.

The complete Palace is constituted by three different cadastral properties, of which two of them are offered for sale. There is a basic project to renovate the entire Palace, which includes the three Palace estates and the other two of the two annexes. The project proposes an adaptation to Hotel and meeting rooms, and is approved by the Ministry of Culture of the Junta de Andalucía and the City of Montilla.

Nowadays, after having been segregated, it is divided into two houses of private use. Its façade in golden stone is articulated on a double floor with numerous bays in parallel positions and a main access on the right side, which appears ornamented and whose upper balcony is flanked by the shields of the Priego House and Fair. On the left side there is a semicircular arch that connects the palace and the convent of Santa Clara. At the other end there is a passage in a semicircular arch. This arch connected the Palace of the Dukes of Medinaceli in Montilla with its private Chapel in the Convent of Santa Clara.

Montilla is a modern town in the heart of Andalucia 40 kms south of the city of Cordoba and is well renowned for its wine growing tradtion. The A-45 Cordoba – Malaga highway provides excellent traffic connections in all directions. Cordoba can be reached in less than half an hour. Malaga and the coastline are just one hour away. Granada and Seville are reachable in about 90 driving minutes.
